Interactive entertainment brand Elementa has officially kicked off the first Monotype Closed Beta Test for Silver Palace, an anime-inspired action RPG set within a richly detailed Victorian-era metropolis. The beta is now live on PC, giving selected players their first hands-on opportunity to explore the game’s industrial cityscape and unravel its layered mysteries.
A Victorian Metropolis Wrapped in Anime Style
Built in Unreal Engine 5, Silver Palace blends high-quality anime aesthetics with a dark, industrial Victorian-era setting. Players step into the role of a detective navigating social unrest, faction conflicts, and a city powered by a mysterious revolutionary energy source known as Silverium. The beta invites participants to experience the game’s open-world structure, real-time combat, and conspiracy-driven storytelling firsthand.

Meet the Cast of Silver Palace
In the lead-up to the beta, Elementa has been steadily revealing character profiles, shedding light on the diverse personalities players will encounter. Highlights include Lorin, a Chief Inspector enforcing order with a non-lethal electric gauntlet; Firtho, a fragile doctor hiding lethal combat skills; and Argos, a bartender who heals allies while wielding a cane-gun in battle. Other standouts include Alf, a seemingly clumsy maid packing a flamethrower, and Cynthia II, the noble scion of House Luna protected by her fiercely loyal bread-shaped kitty toys.
More character reveals are planned, with updates continuing across the game’s official social channels.

Detective Work, Combat, and Conspiracy
At its core, Silver Palace is an open-world action RPG that emphasizes investigation as much as combat. Players will recruit allies, engage in stylish real-time battles, and untangle conspiracies hidden beneath the city’s polished industrial façade. The Monotype Beta Test focuses on introducing players to the world, tone, and foundational systems that will define the full release.

What’s Next for Silver Palace
While signups for the current closed beta are now closed, players can still pre-register via the official website to receive updates on future tests and announcements. Silver Palace is currently planned for PC, with console versions slated for a later date.
