The Submachine Gun category is currently one of the most popular choices in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, featuring a roster of solid options players can choose from. While most players may opt for running weapons featured in the Beta, like the C9 and even the Tanto .22, others might instead opt for another choice. While both of the aforementioned weapons are solid contenders in the meta, the KSV Submachine Gun is a particularly deadly option in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

The KSV is likely a weapon players may use early on in Black Ops 6, as it can be obtained by reaching level 7. This compact Submachine Gun boasts excellent mobility, handling stats, and a solid fire rate. Though the weapon’s overall damage-per-shot and range leaves much to be desired, with the best loadout, it is more than capable of becoming one of the best weapons in Black Ops 6.

Updated on November 18, 2024, by Nathan Round: The Season 1 update for Black Ops 6 has brought its content into Warzone, introducing a wide array of changes to the popular Battle Royale game. With the KSV now available in Warzone, this guide has been updated to include an additional loadout designed for better performance on larger maps like Urzikstan and Area 99.

Creating the perfect custom loadout can be overwhelming given the wide variety of options Black Ops 6 has. Here are the best BO6 attachments to use.

Best KSV Loadout In Black Ops 6

Best KSV Black Ops 6 Build:

  • Long Barrel (Barrel)
  • Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel)
  • Extended Mag I (Magazine)
  • Ergonomic Grip (Rear Grip)
  • Rapid Fire (Fire Mods)

The KSV is an excellent weapon in the close-range meta, but its range is its main limiting factor. However, with the attachments showcased above, players can expect to get their hands on a solid weapon to use in Multiplayer.

The benefits of this build include a great increase in damage range and a boost to the weapon’s firepower by increasing its fire rate. Other neat benefits include a boost in horizontal recoil control and improved handling attributes like aim-down-sight speed.

Best Black Ops 6 Perks & Wildcard

  • Dexterity (Perk 1)
  • Tracker (Perk 2)
  • Double Time (Perk 3)
  • Enforcer (Specialty)
  • Perk Greed (Wildcard)
  • Scavenger (Perk Greed)

There are a range of Perks and Wildcards that players can choose from, but when it comes to a solid Submachine Gun loadout, the best options include those showcased above. Running the following Perks and Wildcard combinations provides some nice boosts, including the ability to track players via their revealed footprint trails, along with also boasting increased mobility.

Other attributes include the ability to quickly kickstart health regeneration upon gaining an elimination, along with also being able to loot ammunition from eliminated Operators. All these benefits are a great match for players looking to run and gun with the KSV.

Black Ops 6 Secondary Recommendations

The KSV is a masterclass at gunning opponents down up close, but despite increasing its magazine size, players may still find that the weapon burns through its ammo rather quickly. With that being the case, opting for a solid Handgun to swap to when needed will keep players covered in situations where they cannot reload. Currently, the Grekhova is among the best weapons in the Handgun category for Black Ops 6, boasting a fast fire rate and excellent damage potential. For players who prefer a semi-auto option, the GS45 and the 9MM PM will suffice.

The XMG is a heavy-hitting LMG in Black Ops 6. Here is the best loadout for it, complete with Secondary, Perk, and Wildcard recommendations.

Best KSV Loadout in Warzone

Best KSV Warzone Build:

  • Compensator (Muzzle)
  • Reinforced Barrel (Barrel)
  • Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel)
  • Extended Mag II (Magazine)
  • Ergonomic Grip (Rear Grip)
  • Balanced Stock (Stock)
  • Fast Motion Laser (Laser)
  • Rapid Fire (Fire Mods)

Next up is a KSV build for Warzone Battle Royale, designed to give players a fast and reliable weapon for the close-range meta. Many of the attachments from our previous build have carried over, primarily to enhance the weapon’s TTK (time-to-kill) and maintain recoil control. Additional benefits unique to this build include a significantly larger magazine and improved damage range, along with an increase in bullet velocity to extend the weapon’s hitscan range.

For a solid five-attachment build, be sure to drop the Compensator, the Balanced Stock, and the Fast Motion Laser.

Best Warzone Perks & Wildcard

  • Dexterity (Perk 1)
  • Sprinter (Perk 2)
  • Resolute (Perk 3)
  • Gunfighter (Wildcard)

The KSV excels at keeping players mobile in Warzone, but theres no harm in enhancing mobility even further. This is where the above Perk Package comes into play, granting players unlimited tactical sprint, a movement buff when taking damage, and significantly reduced fall damage when dropping from heights. As for the Wildcard, players can either opt for Gunfighter to create a strong eight-attachment build or choose Overkill for an additional Primary Weapon.

Warzone Secondary Recommendations

When it comes to choosing a solid Secondary in Warzone, running with an additional Primary weapon is currently the top choice, especially when players are using a Submachine Gun. While players using the Gunfighter Wildcard wont be able to equip another Primary weapon directly in their custom loadout, they can purchase an additional custom build from the Buy Station.

With that said, players have several options to consider. The first is to go with a solid full-auto weapon capable of performing well at long range. The XMGKrig-CGPR 91, and Model L are all good choices. Alternatively, pairing a Sniper Rifle with a Submachine Gun is another strong option. For those who prefer Sniper Rifles, consider using either the LR 7.62 or the LW3A1 Frostline for their one-shot kill potential.
